On Thursday, November 6th, ASD hosted an exclusive demonstration at its Show Kitchen to showcase how this cutting-edge equipment is set to transform local kitchen operations.

The event centered on the IRINOX Blast Chiller Freezer, a powerful unit that functions like a “reverse oven.” While an oven pre-heats, the IRINOX pre-cools, using a precision probe to rapidly and safely lower the temperature of any product, from delicate berries to large cuts of meat.

Unlike a standard refrigerator, which is designed to maintain a cold temperature, the IRINOX is a specialized tool used to create the cold, fast. Once the product is perfectly chilled or frozen, it is then moved to a regular freezer or refrigerator for storage. This “use it when you need it” approach is the key to its revolutionary benefits.

Attendees witnessed the benefits firsthand. During the demonstration:

  • Product Quality: Grapes and berries were blast-frozen without bursting or forming damaging icicles, perfectly preserving their texture and integrity.
